Two former basketball players at IU South Bend are facing charges, after police say they raped a woman in February. A short time later, Bannister invited the group to his apartment in IU South Bend's student housing. The victim told police the rape happened on February 19th. At the apartment, a witness said he received a Snapchat video, showing Bannister and the victim engaging in sexual activity. Twenty-year-old Joseph Bannister was arrested for the crime on July 14th, and has since posted bond.

Two former Indiana University South Bend basketball players are being charged with raping a female student -- then sharing videos of the incident on Snapchat. Our reporting partners at the South Bend Tribune report the alleged rape happened at campus housing back in February. 21-year-old Joseph Bannister faces one felony count of rape and Phillip Crothen faces two felony counts of rape.
