Syracuse basketball players spent Super Bowl Sunday stuck in travel limbo
Neither of their teams made it to the Super Bowl, however the 2 Syracuse basketball players, along by many of their teammates, were hoping to watch the large game on Sunday night. The Syracuse players & coaches were supposed to travel to the game on Sunday. Instead of flying to Louisville & watching the Super Bowl, the SU players & coaches had to wait on their charter to arrive from Wisconsin. By the time the team left for Syracuse's Hancock International Airport, the Super Bowl was only starting. The SU players got to their hotel in time for the game's final 8 minutes.

as declared in SCOTTSDALE, AZ - A Valley high school basketball game, by playoff implications, was cut short after a battle broke out on the court of law. Players from Saguaro High School in Scottsdale & Higley High School in Gilbert faced off Friday night in a play-in game, by the winner advancing to the 4a state tournament.
